Little Elm's Autumn Fest is among this season's fall festivals

This year's event, which runs Sept. 24-25, is among many fall festivals to be celebrated across the North Texas area in the coming weeks. It usually runs from mid-September to mid-October and includes Little Elm's Autumn Fest, Oktoberfests in McKinney and Addison , the Plano Balloon Festival and, of course, the State Fair of Texas. The Little Elm Autumn Fest is scheduled Sept. 23-26.
