Olive Garden Stuffed Mushrooms... Red Lobster Bahama Mama Ingredients and Red Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms...


Serves: 4-6,

Yield:

8-12 mushrooms:
Prep Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 45 mins

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. 2 Lightly oil a small baking dish.
  3. 3 Gently wash and stem mushrooms; pat dry (Save stems for another recipe).
  4. 4 Combine clams, onions, garlic salt, minced garlic, butter and oregano in a bowl and mix well.
  5. 5 Add Italian bread crumbs, egg, clam juice, mixing well.
  6. 6 Add Parmesan, Romano, and Mozzarella cheeses to the clam stuffing and mix well.
  7. 7 Place approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons of the clam stuffing mixture inside mushroom cavity and slightly mound (You should be able to stuff between 8- 12 mushrooms depending on the size of mushrooms).
  8. 8 Place the stuffed mushrooms in slightly oiled baking dish and pour 1/4 cup melted butter over the top of the mushrooms.
  9. 9 Cover and place in oven for about 35- 40 minutes.
  10. 10 Remove cover; sprinkle the 1/4 cup freshly grated mozzarella cheese on top and pop back in oven just so the cheese melts slightly.
  11. 11 Garnish with freshly diced parsley.
  12. 12 Serve hot.

Directions:

Add Italian bread crumbs, egg, clam juice and blend. Stir cheeses in clam stuffing and mix well. Place clam mixture inside mushroom cavity and slightly mound clam mixture.

You should be able to stuff between 8 - 12 mushrooms depending on the size of mushrooms.

Place mushrooms in slightly oiled baking dish. Pour butter over mushrooms. Cover and place in a preheated oven at 350 decrease for about 35 - 40 minutes.

Remove cover and sprinkle freshly grated mozzarella cheese on top and pop back in oven just so the cheese melts slightly, garnish with freshly diced parsley.

The Olive Garden recipe for stuffed mushrooms is one of my absolute favorites! I enjoy ordering the yummy appetizer every time I dine at the Olive Garden with my friends. My variation is lighter than the restaurant version; it is made with olive oil and is baked with a tomato based sauce. Fewer cheeses in the recipe make it a more heart healthy dish. The end result is a delicious appetizer or buffet dish that will impress your family and friends.

Stuffed Mushrooms

1 pound medium or large mushrooms
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
minced or chopped fresh garlic (to taste)
salt and pepper (to taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil

Sauce

1 small onion, chopped
2 teaspoons olive oil
1- 8 ounce can tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon oregano
fresh garlic (to taste)

Wash and dry the mushrooms and remove the stems. Hollow out the mushroom caps slightly by scraping with a teaspoon. Combine the bread crumbs, basil, parmesan cheese , garlic, salt and pepper and olive oil; mix well. Fill the mushrooms with the crumb mixture. Coat a shallow baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place the mushroom caps in the baking dish.

Prepare the sauce. Saute’ the onion in the oil in a small pan until it turns translucent. Add the remaining ingredients; stir well and simmer 10 minutes. Pour the sauce evenly over the mushrooms. Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.

Bahama Mama

Ingredients

* 1/2 fluid ounce rum
* 1/2 fluid ounce coconut-flavored rum
* 1/2 fluid ounce grenadine syrup
* 1 fluid ounce orange juice
* 1 fluid ounce pineapple juice
* 1 cup crushed ice

Directions

1. Combine regular rum, rum with coconut flavoring, grenadine, orange juice, pineapple juice and crushed ice in an electric blender. Blend until the drink’s consistency is slushy.
