To my grandson Logan Halcomb. The Truth.

My Christmas present to Logan.  Hope he knows it was from me.  I was never told.

Where are my weight's?

Notice the Time Stamp during our chat conversation.  He was asked about my Squat Rack at 3:31.  It took him until 6:31 to reply.

Why did he show me a picture of his garage/gym when we were discussing guns and gun ranges?  Did he feel that this was a good time to get my reaction to the missing rack?  Was he aware that 6 months ago I had asked Ryan, after Trevor had posted a picture of his garage on Instagram, if he still had my rack and bench?  Maybe.  Did he really think I would be ok with him selling or dumping my gym equipment that I have had for almost 30 yrs?  If what he says is true, that he left the rack in an old rent house, why didn't he just call me and ask me if I wanted to come pick it up before he moved?  The iron alone was worth several $$$ that a scrap yard man would have gladly stopped by and paid him for.

In 1989 when Trevor was a baby, the rack and bench was purchased from a man in Arlington TX who made custom weight equipment.  It was bought with my tax return money.  Rack was $300 and the bench was $150.  The 310 lb set was $200 plus another 310 lb set we bought from our neighbor for $75.  I moved that rack with me to several different houses and apartments for many years.  The comment from him that I was putting this rack out by the curb is ludicrous.

This gym equipment was given to Trevor in hopes he would cherish them and hand them down to Logan.  Guess that's not going to happen.

Trevor told me while visiting at our home in Little Elm that Logan had been asking about myself and his grandmother.  He said that he told him we lived in Oklahoma.  Why he would lie to his son I do not know.  Lived here now for almost 20 yrs.  We now own our home.
