Sopapillas with Chocolate Sauce...
Sauce:
1/2 cup brown sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 cup powder chocolate/without sugar/ for baking
3 tbs unsalted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Sopapillas:
veg oil for frying
4- 25mm flour tortillas cut in strips
white sugar for decoration or white powered sugar
Preparation:
Boil 1/4 cup water with brown sugar & salt in medium sauce pan.
Mix until sugar is dissolved.
Add coco/ stir until soft.
Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla.
Las Sopapillas:
Heat oil very hot, fry tortillas until bubble and golden on both sides.
About 1 to 2 minutes.
Move tortillas to paper towell and add sugar to both sides, then add chocolate.
Enjoy hot with butter and honey. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
